The U.S government has been prone to the" deception " of Somali warlords-drug-barons allied with Emperor" Meles|" from 1993 when they first came to Somalia with" Restore Hope" intervention in December 1992.From that day till we can say today the U.S politician in charge of East African Affairs are playing "second fiddle" to the Ethiopian Agenda. Regionally to IGAD( an outfit working for the interest of the Ethiopian regime) and an African Union which was till recently run by" Gaddafi" and has as a "Manager" a Chinese-Gabonese elected with Gaddafi money and Chinese and Ethiopian influence.All this groups don't care about the National Interest of the U.S and are "misleading" when it came to the real problems and issues of the Somali conflict. How the U.S can have as a" counselor" and "adviser" Ethiopia which have been the perennial Enemy of the Somali Republic even after the collapse of the Siad barre regime ? The reasons I am writing about this is the Mistakes of the U.S policies have effected the Nation-building and institution building of the new Somali Federal State. Maybe only the U.S , E.U and the Arab league,Turkey can save Somalia from the " Its puppet Leaders" and a regional and Global alliances to dominate and sub-divide Somalia.
Just one example: the U.S have followed blindly the Ethiopians in the Agenda to Sub-divide Somalia in Puntland,Somaliland,Galmudug, Ahlu--Sunna-waljameeca which are clan "dominated" enclaves and "fast tracking" the agenda to have Somalia sub-divided in "Break-away Republics" .Secondly the Ethiopians,U.N Staff, have misled the American when it came to Intelligence on Somali issues like about the power and influence of Warlords-Drug-barons in Somalia and as a center for transhipment of Heroin from Afghanistan to Europa/East Africa. More to that the All-ittixad bussiness cartels which controls the economies of the entire Somali Republic from Somaliland .Puntland and entire South -Central. Now we are at the point were the U.N itself is doing the "job" of sub-dividing" on broad-daylight by calling it the so-called" Road-map".The other story is to get out of the transition next August.How? All this is a game plan by the Warlords-drug-barons,all-Ittixad business cartels Elites which are allied with the new Emperor "Meles" to "consolidate power in Somalia by sub-dividing it in" Break-away Republics".I can say with belief that the new NGO ALI- Khomeini Foundation of the Republic of IRAN in Mogadishu is more influential of the U.S ambassador for Somalia in Nairobi when it came to Somali issues. Iran has the taken the places of Gaddafi in influencing and sustaining the corrupt Somali elites( and Maybe re-financing Al-Shabaab) and together with China,France have forged a strong alliance with the warlords Drug-Barons and the All-Ittixad business cartels all over Somalia.The U.S government must go back to the drawing board and put forward a clear- cut policy on" Somalia".Wait and see.

This is just a short summary of the U.S wrong policies for" Somalia" ,I remember in 2005-2006 the U.S administration recruited the worst Warlords-Drug-Barons of Somalia( already a U.N security council report of 2003 was mentioning the crimes of this groups) to fight Islamic courts-Al-Shabaab,It was one of the failures of The U.S administration on Somalia.This Warlords-Drug-barons have always been part and parcel of the Al-Ittixad movement which have destroyed Somalia by infiltrating and manipulating U.S.C and other Opposition movements.But also the Ethiopian agenda was to Destroy The Somali Republic and have at its place small "Break-away Republics" and as we all know it started from 1992.Wait and see.
